Pretty thrilled to have two of my paintings hanging right now at
My Mum and brother Eli came to support me, which really meant a lot. We had an amazing evening, and I want to thank everyone at the museum for being so kind and encouraging to me. Means a lot.
Hi friends,
It was a huge honor to have two works selected to be included in this evenings incredible art event, the TriBeca Ball!! The event is always an outstanding fundraiser for my alma mata: The New York Academy of Art. As an alumni, I am honored to be participating, and although I am VERY nervous to go to a red carpet art event ALONE with actual art stars and celebrities surrounding me, I will go proudly and hope I do not fall on my butt while attempting to walk in heels (not my forte).
The work below titled “I Just Woke Up” was selected to hang, and in addition I have a smaller painting in the coinciding alumni pop-up show. See everyone tonight!
I <3 Sumi Ink so much. Gorgeous material! The blackest of blacks.
