All available works are marked as “available” in each title. Please consider buying a unique piece of fine art from me this holiday season as you complete your shopping (and help me survive London rent costs in 2016 when I relocate there). From now through to Dec. 31st, select available work will be on sale. Free gift wrapping and free shipping on all works over $1000. I now accept PayPal too, so email me with inquiries.

NYC Shows:

My painting “I Swear I Have Seen This Before..” is on display at Pleiades Gallery in Chelsea this month as part of a group show organized by Tokyo-based curator Reno Oka.  Located at: 530 W 25th St, Fl 4th, New York, New York. (through Dec. 26th.)

In March 2016 (opening date TBA), I will participate in a group show at Mark Miller Gallery in the Lower East Side of NYC, located at:

92 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002

Finally, Lily Koto Studios is moving to London at the beginning of 2016. Be on the lookout for new work, designs, and show updates from the U.K. in 2016.

Hola. Commo esatas? Bien bien!!
I am here at Altos de Chavon on an artist and art teaching residency in La Romana, Dominicana Republica.
It is incredible, and I am feeling so inspired and grateful to be here. I have been making so many paintings trying to capture the overwhelming beauty in the nature here. Also rediscovering monoprinting and other printmaking techniques and enjoying that. I am here til September 1st. 🙂

Future Ghosts

Excited to have my painting “Future Ghosts” ( oil, acrylic and airbrush on paper, 5″ x 7″, 2014) in the upcoming “Mini Masterpieces” auction this May at

Exciting news: I found out yesterday I would have one of my paintings featured next Spring in the New Britain Museum of American Art’s Spring Auction. Extremely excited to have the opportunity to hang there again. Last year it truly was a dream come true to walk into their museum and see my piece hanging on their walls. They have a wonderful collection of works, and everyone I have met and talked to in connection with the institution has been absolutely lovely. Very honored and grateful to have this opportunity.

Hi friends!, the art criticism website I co-founded with my partner Jonathan Beer has gone through exciting changes recently. We now have several new contributing writers helping us out on both sides of the US! New articles and interviews are currently up, including an interview Jon and I did recently with painter Julie Heffernan about her recent solo show at P.P.O.W. in Chelsea, NYC!

Check it out!

xoxo, Lily
